Hello! My name is Heather Heide.

Here’s a little about myself. I’m a full-time school librarian that loves to read, quilt/sew, garden, play music, farm, and all-around create beautiful things. I grew up, for the most part, on the prairies and enjoy wide open spaces filled with light and friends and family.

Have you ever had a nudge that you should do something? Have you ever followed it? That’s why I am on this journey of writing this blog. I have felt the nudge for years and am taking the leap of writing down the thoughts that have come to me while working in my gardens. I hope, somehow, that you will be blessed and encouraged by what you find here. It’s not all pretty, and it may get a little raw and real at times. But that’s okay. It’s a garden.
